Cher parents,

"I am a qualified chess teacher from the Netherlands. I started to play chess when I was 8 years old and have never stopped since. During my law studies, I wanted to use my chess experiences to teach children and adults to improve and so I became a chess teacher in my free time. When I arrived in France in 2011 I was thrilled to be able to continue offering chess classes in parallel to my "proper" job!"

English Teacher

"My name is Anna, I’m Swedish and I moved to France in 2012. I have a master’s degree in Biology and a French diploma “CAP petite enfance”. I love what I do, and I find working with children is truly rewarding when I manage to get them enthusiastic and absorbed by an activity. In particular when I know that they will learn loads of English at the same time."

Beth

English Teacher

I moved to France from England in 2018 with my husband, two teenage children and dog. Having worked in the Optical health industry for over 20 years I took this opportunity to do something different. As my passion has always been in education I chose teaching. I recently finished a Natural Sciences Degree just for fun and in 2019 I completed my TEFL training. I believe education should be fun whenever possible, encouraging the children to discover and learn things in a safe, fun and interactive environment making Kidooland the perfect place for me to work.

William

English Teacher

I moved to France in 2012, when I began looking after children in the evenings and teaching them English.

Six years later, after deciding there was no other job I'd be happier doing, I moved to Paris to train with the Paris institute of childcare training to gain my CAP "Accompagnant Educatif Petite Enfance" diploma, whilst also working as an intern in a bilingual primary school. I love getting to know all the children I have the privilige of working with, and making sure that their English learning experience is as natural and enjoyable as possible is my priority.

Renée

English Teacher

My name is Renée. I grew up in South Africa & I am really passionate about teaching your children about African wildlife and protecting their environment. Taking children on a  virtual aventures to my second home, London, is also such fun; learning about transport (the famous red buses, the “tube”, black taxis) & visiting famous tourist sights like the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square!

I love being part of the KidooTeam and I look forward to taking your child on a fabulous journey through the English language.

Samara

English Teacher

I moved to France in 2010  after having spent too many holidays here, not wanting to go home! I love teaching and seeing the excitement and glee on children’s faces when they learn something new, and in a fun and interactive manner.  I am so conscious that little acts of kindness in a class environment can have a long lasting impression on a child, so I hope to keep all the children engaged, happy and secure while they learn.

Yogita

English Teacher & Wednesday Assistant

I came to France in 2012. I am a qualified nutritionist, have a CAP Petite Enfance and am currently persuing my TEFL qualification.

Working with young children has always been my centre of interest and it is truly rewarding to see them grow in life. Kidooland gives me the opportunity to share my experiences and learnings with children and help them achieve their goals.

Soha

English Teacher

I believe I was blessed with quite a healthy and colorful student life in different countries, the one constant in all my learning (even as I grew up) was the fun factor!

I find it very important that the lesson / material be imprinted into children's memories through positive emotions like creativity, song, laughter and colour. Learning in this way helps maintain an innovative and open mindset towards learning anything at all!

Amanda

Pilates

I studied dance at Laine Theatre Arts, U.K and went on to become a professional dancer and certified (A.I.S.T.D) dance teacher before training to become a Stott Pilates Instructor.

I love sharing my passion and knowledge of Pilates with others as I really do believe in its benefits for everyone. I run private, online classes for the KidooLand Team every Tuesday evening and enjoy bringing them together in a shared goal of health and wellbeing.

Communications Champion

"I moved to France in 2002 and after almost 15 years working for various companies on the Côte d'Azur, I joined the KidooLand team to help with the promotion of their positive language classes, activities and holiday workshops.

I have 2  young children who are being raised in a bilingual  home environment and I appreciate the benefits that bilingualism will bring them in later life!"

Emma

Intern

Hello my name is Emma and I'm French. I'm preparing my BTS in communication and I'm joining the KidooLand team for 2 years as my business placement.

I'm really enjoying my work at KidooLand because I love communication and I look forward to learning more about it over the coming 2 years .

Would you like to join the team?

We are really proud of our team at KidooLand!  Working at KidooLand is a varied, energetic and lively role! With each inscription, we have 2 customers; the parent and the child. Our work is therefore two-fold, a careful balance between having fun and laughter so the child enjoys themself and of course the all important learning. DETAILS HERE

Our team all lead sessions in their native tongue and come from Anglophone countires such as England, Ireland, America and Australia! They have diplomas that range from Teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL, CELTA) to qualifications for Teaching theatre, dance or music. Some of our leaders also hold certificates in Child Pyschology and Speech Therapy and many of us continue in our own time to further our academic knowledge with courses such as Art Therapy, Montessori etc.

Successful team members at KidooLand would be described as "a people person" , with a cheery disposition, firm but fair, ponctual and organised.  They have to be autonomous yet team players, structured yet flexible.

While we are not actively recruiting at the moment, sometimes team members sadly (for us!) leave to go back to their home country. If you think you have what it takes, please send us your CV and photo, along with a covering letter and your contact details. Then, if an opportunity comes up we can quickly contact you.
