This session is all about encouraging communication. With a theme that changes every fortnight we will use role play and improvisations, games, art and craft activities to Xpress ourselves in English!

Our classes are kept deliberately small to ensure your child has the close attention and support needed to ensure correct pronunciation from the start. Led by Mother Tongue English level teachers who have correct accent,intonation and pronunciation as well as the naturelness in the language we are best placed to best share the basics with your child. This is very important as the child's ear is so acute and receptive .. to start down the wrong pronunciation path would be a disaster hard remedied.

Our aim is to express ourselves creativly and to really encourage the children to talk and discuss the themes in question

Ex: Out of papier mache we made an island. Then we talked about treasure islands, pirates and moved onto holidays and scuba diving! Learning keywords along the way such as Island, Sea, Ocean, Shell the bilingual children were encouraged to go even further discussing whether we could breathe underwater and if not what did we need to wear to swim underwater.

The leader is bilungual and uses a variety of support material to get the conversations going from flash cards to objects and props.

Aimed at French children embarking on their first English experiences and also mother tongue English speakers who go to a French Maternelle or Creche who would like to maintain their second language, meet other culturally minded people and pick up on the latest vocab, terms and cool ideas from across the channel!
