English Book Club for English Speaking Children

Join the book club and once per month meet up to talk about the latest read. The children will be involved in choosing the books :-)

Each month they will have a book to read at home.

We will meet once per month to talk about the book : what we liked and didn’t like, the characters, reading passages from the book that we really liked/didn’t like .

We will have other little activities linked to literacy such as wordsearches, listening to book recordings and book swaps.

We will have time for a drink and a biscuit keeping things social!

It’s a time to get together, share a passion and nurture literacy.

We would like parents to be involved and volunteer to join the group on a rotation basis .
